I was born in 1974 in the small village Ohlsdorf near Gmunden. As the youngest of six children I started early spending my time on making little sketches and drawings, almost on furnitures. Because of my creative interests I decided to study fashion and design. Besides of drawings I also startet my first paintings on canvas at this time.

In 1999 I decided to leave Austria for a while, so I worked for a textile company in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Here I gave birth to my alter-ego Niklas Novi. "Niklas" was my slowakian name (for Klaus), "Novi" stands for a new way of living and a new way of painting. In 2000 I went back to live, love and work in graz.

While studying psychology I spezialized on the topic of creativity and the processes that happen inside the brain while creative thinking.

At the moment I´m doing art with former prisoners having mental diseases.
